Rukh Ordo Cultural Center. So beautifful and serene with music wafting. Established in early 2000’s by prominent poet, writer and public figure Chingiz Aitmatov. The chapels represent different religions including Islam, Christianity, Buddhism and Judaism.

Fun in the water. Nothing to kill you in this lake.

Boat ride out on the lake with snacks. The string cheese was so interesting that we hit the grocery store in Bishkek to bring some home.

I like to think I was atop a 200 foot rock in the first picture.

And Hurricane Erin was threatening Florida while we were gone.
