Our night safari was quite a bust. We got into a bigger 4×4 with six other people and drove around the national park in the dark seeing nothing. Fell asleep.
There was a hint of lions so we sped up and we’re flying through the park. The spotlight did show a little baby lion barely visible as it left the area.
On the way back we had a flat tire. A young girl whose parents lived right off Central Park in New York and she and her husband lived in the UK needed to go to the bathroom. So we both hopped out and peed in front of the 4×4, taking our lives in our hands.
The tire could not be changed and we had to switch into another vehicle. More driving through the dark.
We had dinner past 9:00 that evening.
